A solid end to Riley's breakout freshman year! He placed 18th in the 1600m and 17th in the 3200m at State today.
This caps off a year where he won a Regional cross country championship, placed in the top 50 at state in cross country, was regional runner up in the 1600m and 3rd in the region in the 3200m. Along the way, Riley kept setting new PRs all year as well. Congratulations Riley!

Our Seniors will be taking one last bus ride through town tomorrow morning. If you can, come out and wave. The time will be roughly between 9:45am and 10:15am. Sorry we can't be more specific but we have a lot going on in the morning!

On behalf of the Lee County School District we would like to invite all family, friends, and community members to join us in celebration of the accomplishments of our 8th grade class of 2024. The promotion ceremony will commence at 7pm in the Heber Dunaway gymnasium tomorrow, May 21.


Families are cordially invited to attend the 2024 Junior BETA induction ceremony this Monday evening, May 20th at 6pm at Sedley Stewart Auditorium with a reception to follow. All current members are encouraged to attend and participants are required to report to the auditorium lobby by 5:45pm to line up. Guests should plan to be seated by 6:00 pm as doors will close to the public at that time for commencement of the candle lighting ceremony. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to celebrating your Junior BETA club member's successes with you on Monday evening!

With the high probability of rain in the forecast for tomorrow, the 11th and 12th grade trip to Natural Bridge has been moved to Friday.
