There will NOT be school in Lee County on Friday, February 16, 2024 due to high sickness in the district. This will NOT be an NTI day and this day will be added to the end of our school calendar. Today, there were over 125 students out in Lee County K-12 plus staff illness (most range from strep, stomach virus, some covid but lots of Flu A & B).
All extra-curricular events for Friday through Sunday will be cancelled. The only except will be the LCMHS academic team will participate in the Regional Tournament on Saturday, weather permitting (this cannot be rescheduled).
We will be off on Monday, February 19, 2024 for Presidents day. Hopefully the four day break will help the cycle of sickness.

Unfortunately, Lee Co Schools will have to close today at 1:15 pm due to a water main break. Lee County Elementary will be without water for the remainder of the day so there will be no after school activities including tutoring at LCE.
Lee County Middle High students will dismiss today at 1:15. After school activities may be available at LCMHS but coaches will coordinate on a team by team basis.
We are asking that everyone stay patient as we dismiss early. Dismissing early is not something that we like or plan to do but is necessary from time to time. Thank you for your understanding.
We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding today during our early dismissal. As a school district, we understand that early dismissal days can cause issues for our parents, students and staff so we do not make those decisions lightly.
The water main has been repaired so there will be school on Friday, November 17th.
We would like to thank our Veteran's and their families for their participation in our Lee County Elementary Veteran's Parade today. Thank you for your service!
